Velvety chocolate


you will need:
100 g dark chocolate
4 cups whole milk
1 tablespoon sugar
½ cup whipping cream
½ each vanilla bean




Chop chocolate finely and set aside.

Heat milk, sugar and cream in a small saucepan. Take the pan off the heat and let it simmer a bit.

Split the vanilla pod and scrape the grains from the vanilla pod into the milk. Add chocolate and beat vigorously with a whisk until mixture is evenly blended.

Put the chocolate drink in the fridge until the next day.

Heat gently just before serving. Beat thoroughly and serve in small cups.


ps:i love vanilla icecream in hot chocolate,try it if you havent yet!

So anyway,a dear friend and blogger helped me out with this blog yesterday and showed me how things where done in here,she also gave me a cake tin for muffins and rented me her nigellas express cookingbook so that i could get started quick with showing recipes.


There are lots enough to digg in to but i havent quite desided yet what to make first....hmmm a luxury problem :)

Moi becomes a blogger:D

I have arrived!
The point of this blog was food. To be a better cook, to learn from other cooks, to create heavenly delicious dishes, cakes etc and to document that.  But also, I wanted a place I could write about my travels in far away lands, my thoughts about my life in general, my style from modern woman of the 21st Century to looks back at retro fashions and styles and really to share all of my passions. Somewhere I could share my experiences in the world, so that someone could conceivably read and enjoy and even learn with me.
I’d love to follow along with Nigella Lawson’s cookery books, except first I’d have to get one... hint, hint dearest friends J
I hope you enjoy following me and my adventures, with cookery and other wonderful things.
